Tour de France, from July 2nd to 24th
Winner last
summer of his second Tour in three years, the British Christopher froze will be
once again the favorite of the next edition, which offers a splendid course,
including several stages near Mont Blanc. Dolphin of Froze in 2013 and 2015,
the Colombian Nair Quintana will once again be one of his most serious rivals.
We will also have an eye on the performance of the Italian Fabien Aru, winner
out of the Tour of Spain and who will participate in his first Big Loop. As for
the French Thibaut Pinot and Romaine Bardet, they will be serious outsiders (we
hope anyway).
European Athletics Championships,
July 6th to 10th.
Second power last year at the European Championships in Zurich behind the
United Kingdom (but with the same total of medals, 23), France will have a
status to defend in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on the lands of sprinter Define
Shippers, two-time European Champion in the 100m and 200m. It will be
especially the occasion of a final test run before the Olympics, the following
month, where the level will be obviously higher, in the disciplines of the
sprint as the bottom.
